These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the The Guardians website and services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, making a booking, or simply browsing our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and residents.

2. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Be a student, working professional, or individual seeking PG accommodation.
  • Provide accurate and truthful information during registration and booking.
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not meet these eligibility criteria.

3. Your Account

When you create an account with us, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your password and account credentials.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these terms.

4. Bookings & Reservations

When making a booking through our platform:

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by The Guardians.
  • A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the required advance payment and written confirmation from us.
  • You must provide valid identification documents (Aadhaar, PAN, student ID, or employee ID) before or upon check-in.
  • The move-in date and room type are as specified in your booking confirmation and cannot be changed without prior approval.
  • Subletting or transferring your room to another person is strictly prohibited.

5. Payments

Regarding payments and fees:

  • Monthly rent is due on or before the 5th of each month. Late payments may attract a penalty as specified in your agreement.
  • A security deposit is collected at the time of booking and is refundable subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
  • All prices displayed are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • We accept payments via bank transfer, UPI, or other methods specified during booking.
  • Non-payment of rent for more than 15 days may result in termination of your stay.

6. House Rules

All residents are required to follow our house rules:

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in your room and common areas.
  • Visitors of the opposite gender are not permitted inside rooms. Common areas may be used during specified hours.
  • Guests must leave the premises by 10:00 PM unless prior permission is obtained.
  • Consumption of alcohol, tobacco, or any illegal substances on the premises is strictly prohibited.
  • Loud music or disruptive behaviour that disturbs other residents is not permitted.
  • Damage to property will be charged to the responsible resident.
  • Cooking in rooms is not permitted unless designated kitchen facilities are available.
  • Gate timings must be adhered to as per the hostel schedule.

Violation of house rules may result in immediate termination of stay without refund.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the accommodation agreement:

  • By the Resident: A minimum of 30 days' written notice is required before vacating. Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy for deposit refund terms.
  • By The Guardians: We may terminate your stay immediately without notice in cases of serious rule violations, non-payment, or conduct that endangers other residents.
  • Upon termination, the resident must vacate the room and return all keys and property in good condition.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Guardians shall not be liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings of residents.
  • We are not responsible for interruptions in utility services (electricity, water, internet) that are caused by external service providers or government actions.
  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding month.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of The Guardians and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without prior written permission.
  • Use our brand name, logo, or trademarks without authorisation.
  • Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code from our website.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi, India. We encourage resolution of disputes through mutual discussion before pursuing legal action.
